Mr. Darius Barron
Mr. Barron is a copywriter for Carol H. Williams Advertising. He attended University of California, Santa Cruz where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Minor in Journalism. He received his Master of Arts in Advertising Management from Syracuse University. During his college education he received numerous awards, including the National Dean’s List and the Ralph Guzman Scholar/Mentor Award. He has worked for Citron Haligman Bedecarre as an account planning intern, media planner, and a copywriter and traffic intern.
Mr. T. Justin Bell
Mr. Bell received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. He has worked for General Motors as a Marketing Intern and Team Coordinator, and Triage Consulting Group as a Senior Consultant. He has been involved with many humanitarian and community organizations, including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Providian Relay (Organs ‘R’ Us) and LA’s Best.
Mr. Daniel Castillo
Mr. Castillo is an advocate of higher education and is currently a graduate student in the Political Science Department, and is seeking candidacy into the Single-Subject Teaching Credential Program for Social Science at San Francisco State University. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach, where he graduated cum laude. He is a member of the Political Science Honors Society and a CSULB Liberal Arts Distinguished Student. He has worked as a substitute teacher and loves to learn, teach and write.
Ms. Angela Copeland
Ms. Copeland is the founder and owner of New Dawn, an internet company in Los Angeles. Angela received her Bachelor of Science in Computer and Systems Engineering and a Minor in Studio Arts from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute of Troy, New York, where she made the Dean’s List and the National Dean’s List. She received her Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University, Graziadio School of Business and Management in Malibu, California. She has worked as an intern for Westinghouse Electric Company and General Motors in the Quality Engineering Department and the Electrical Engineering Development and Software Benches Team. She was also employed by Fed Ex as a Business Applications Analyst. She was the Founder and Co-Chair of Mpact Memphis, a Coordinator and Leadership Council Member for the American Diabetes Association, Rensselaer Student Union and the Boys and Girls Club of Troy, New York. She is a member of the Pepperdine Graduate Women in Business, Pepperdine Entrepreneurship Club and the Malibu Graduate Business Society.
Ms. Ashley Green
Ms. Green is a native of Pacifica, California. She is a graduate of St. Ignatius College Preparatory School in San Francisco. She is currently an employee of the YMCA of Redwood City. After attending the University of San Francisco her freshmen year, she now attends California State University, Los Angeles. Her career objective is to become a Social Worker. Her educational career has led her around the world, including Spain and South Africa.
Mr. Scott Mazzola
Mr. Mazzola earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, with a concentration in Faith, Peace and Justice Studies from Boston College and a Jurisprudence Doctored from the University of San Francisco, School of Law. He has worked as a prosecutor, researcher and writer for the United States Attorney’s Office. He was also an assistant at Mazzola Law Office, Next Move Realty, the Office of Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service, and the Massachusetts Department of Asset Management. Scott grew up in Yakima, Washington and was an exchange student to the country of Spain. While at Boston College he volunteered for the Alston-Brighton Community Center and Habitat for Humanity in Washington.
Mr. Loran Simon
Loran Simon is a native of San Francisco, California. He attended the best of San Francisco’s schools, including; Cathedral School for Boys, and Leadership High School. Loran graduated cum laude from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, receiving the Department of Political Science Chair’s Award. At SF State he was the Vice President of the University’s Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society. In April of 2003 Mr. Simon was hired by Warner Bros. Television Network as an actor, producing, writing and acting in public service commercials addressing the needs of young people. Loran is an advisory board member for many organizations, including, KQED (San Francisco’s PBS affiliate), and Leadership High School.
